My inspiration to create unique handmade jewelry comes from many sources, but mostly I look to nature for my inspiration.I love to make my designs in a way that reflects the beauty and harmony of nature. I am self-taught and inspired by life! The jewelry creations I offer to you are born from reflections of Mother Earth, not a department store counter filled with costume jewelry.Each handcrafted piece is a work of art that becomes a personal expression of its possessor.
In 2005 an event very close to my heart occurred that served to bring forth a new artistic endeavor for me – that of crafting Christian jewelry.My friend’s 6-month old was very ill, and I joined a prayer circle for this suffering innocent.As a gesture of my love and support, I created a Bible marker of a precious metal clay cross with HOPE & LOVE carved on it and strung it with mother-of-pearl in hope that it would become a symbol of comfort to them.The story had a very blessed ending as God’s grace gave them strength; their ordeal had a happy outcome.Others have since come to me with their requests for Bible markers, and I now design and craft other Christian jewelry as well.I have since made special crosses for friends that have lost loved ones.
